A recent report by Android Headlines suggested that OnePlus could be approaching a shutdown, citing declining sales, falling market share, and the closure of several offices worldwide. The article referenced data collected across three continents from four independent analyst firms, claiming the company might struggle to sustain global operations.
In response, the CEO of OnePlus India issued an official statement rejecting the shutdown claims. The executive confirmed that OnePlus continues to operate normally and reassured employees and customers that the company’s business remains unaffected. The statement also encouraged stakeholders to rely on official sources for accurate information.
OnePlus has faced challenges in recent years, but it continues to receive financial support from its parent company, Oppo. In the past, Oppo provided a $14 billion financial infusion that helped stabilize OnePlus during difficult periods. No further financial details have been disclosed since the Android Headlines report, and the publication has not issued any clarification regarding its claims.
