[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has raised the cost of locally produced liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) by Rs. 3.82 per kg, leading to a Rs. 45.18 increase in the price of the 11.8 kg household cylinder for December.
As per the notification, the regulator has established the December LPG price at Rs. 255 per kg, up from Rs. 251 in November. The price for the 11.8 kg domestic cylinder is set at Rs. 3,097.35 for December, compared to Rs. 2,962.17 in November.

In a brief statement, OGRA mentioned determining the maximum LPG price from December 1, 2023, in line with the federal government’s policy guidelines. OGRA clarified that the LPG producer price is linked to Saudi Aramco-CP and the US dollar exchange rate. While Saudi Aramco-CP has remained constant compared to the previous month, the average dollar exchange rate has risen by 1.87%, leading to an increase in the LPG consumer price.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
