OGRA Announces Significant RLNG Price Hike for May 2024

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced the new prices for re-gasified liquefied natural gas (RLNG) for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) effective May 1, 2024.

According to OGRA’s statement, the RLNG transmission price for SNGPL is set at $12.721 per MMBtu and the distribution price at $13.744 per MMBtu for May 2024. These prices represent increases of 6.18 percent and 4.2 percent, respectively, compared to April 2024.

For SSGCL, the transmission rate is set at $12.0672 per MMBtu and the distribution price at $14.0506 per MMBtu, both increasing by 6.5 percent compared to April 2024.
