Nokia announced that NASA had selected it to build the first cellular network on the moon in 2020. Nokia is now attempting to complete the task after nearly three years.

According to CNBC, Nokia hopes to have 4G internet operational on the moon by the end of this year. The Finnish company will rely on SpaceX rockets to transport the necessary tools to the Moon.
The network will work from a base attached to a Nova-C lunar lander. A solar-powered rover developed by Lunar Outpost will also be delivered as part of the mission.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
