No Relief: The price of petrol won’t change until May 15

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]High-speed diesel’s price has decreased, but the price of fuel would not change for the next two weeks, according to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.

High-speed diesel would now cost Rs. 288 per litre under the amended pricing, a Rs. 5 decrease. Petrol will continue to cost Rs. 282 per litre.

Kerosene and light diesel oil have both seen price reductions of Rs. 10. Kerosene oil will now cost Rs. 176.07 per litre, while light diesel oil will now cost Rs. 164.68 per litre.

It is important to note that the government raised the price of gasoline by Rs. 10 per litre at the previous fortnightly review of petroleum pricing.

The administration said at the time that fluctuations in exchange rates and rising petroleum prices on the international market were to blame for the increase in the price of petrol.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
