The situation escalated when Nikhil returned to India with his alleged girlfriend, prompting Dalljiet to file an FIR against him. However, Nikhil quickly left for Kenya without reporting to the police.

Nikhil Patel recently broke his silence on the dispute with Dalljiet, sharing his side of the story through a detailed statement. He revealed that they met in Dubai in 2022 and got married in a Hindu ceremony in March 2023. Following the wedding, Dalljiet moved to Kenya with her son, Jaydon, to join Nikhil, who works and resides there as a British expat. However, Nikhil disclosed that Dalljiet was aware he was not legally divorced from his first wife at the time. He explained:
“Dalljiet and I met in Dubai in 2022 and had our Hindu ceremony in March 2023 in Mumbai, India. Right after the ceremony, we moved to Nairobi, Kenya, where I work and reside as a British expat. We lived in Kenya together as a family until January 2024, when she returned to India with Jaydon. Our celebration in India was never intended to be, nor was it, a ‘legal’ marriage ceremony. For Dalljiet to claim that we entered into a legal union is intentionally deceptive and serves only to support her portrayal as a victim.”
