In Bahawalnagar, Punjab, a young couple was tragically killed in what police are treating as an honour killing. Tayyaba Fatima and Naeem Abbas, who had married just two months ago despite opposition from Fatima’s family, were attacked and shot by five individuals, including Fatima’s father and brother.

The incident took place in the Fakirowali area and also left the couple’s three-year-old daughter, Manahil, injured. Reports indicate that Naeem Abbas had been previously married. Following the attack, the assailants escaped from the scene.
