[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Director-General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), is holding a press conference in Islamabad.
He is briefing the media on security issues. He has specifically condemned 56 ceasefire violations by India along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to him, these included 22 cases of speculative fire incidents, three airspace violations, six minor ceasefire violations, and 25 technical air violations. Pakistan, meanwhile, has shot down six Indian spy quadcopters.

The DG ISPR also stated that Pakistan would always be ready to fully counter such Indian aggressions.
He also praised the security forces for their efforts in counter-terrorism.
In the current year, 219 terrorist incidents have been reported in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P), 206 in Balochistan, 6 in Sindh, and 5 in Punjab.
General Chaudhry also revealed that a total of 8269 intelligence-based operations (IBOs) have been carried out, with 1535 terrorists killed or apprehended as a result.
Balochistan received 4040 IBOs, K-P received 3591, Punjab received 119, and Sindh received 519 operations.
According to the DG ISPR, the army, police, and LEAs conduct over 70 IBOs per day on average.
