Media reports indicate that this hike is a result of adjusting fuel costs for October 2023. Consumers will see this increase reflected in their bills for December 2023.

The revised rates will be applicable to all users, with the exception of lifeline users and K-Electric customers.
NEPRA reports that 9.25 billion units were generated from furnace oil, and 3.11 billion units were generated from hydropower sources.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
