He acknowledged that his previous opinion has deeply offended the Sindhi speaking population and admit that he was ill-informed.
Shah questions whether it is necessary for them to be criticized severely for their mistaken opinion. He made a reference to a quote attributed to Jesus, saying, “Let him who is free from…”to suggest that he should not be judged harshly.
He further states that he is actually enjoying being called ‘ignorant’ and ‘pretend intellectual’ after many years of being mistaken for an intelligent person, indicating that he see it as a refreshing change.
