NAB Lahore Distributes Rs. 1.34 Billion Compensation to Over 1,400 Victims of Formanites Housing Society Scam
Lahore – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore has initiated the disbursement of compensation cheques totaling Rs. 1.34 billion to more than 1,400 victims of the Formanites Housing Society scam, providing long-awaited financial relief to those defrauded.
The cheque distribution ceremony was personally overseen by NAB Lahore Director General Muhammad Ahtram Dar, who congratulated the beneficiaries on recovering their investments along with additional profits.

Swift Compensation Process
Funds are being returned to 1,446 affected individuals, many of whom had awaited justice for years. NAB officials reported that hundreds of compensation cheques were issued in a single day, with staff working efficiently to expedite the process.
To facilitate ease of access, DG Dar announced that the NAB Lahore office will remain open over the weekend, including Saturday and Sunday, to continue distributing compensation without any interruption.
Importantly, victims were informed that they do not need to wait for any formal notice from NAB to collect their cheques.

Several recipients expressed gratitude during the event, applauding the bureau’s leadership and efforts in securing the return of their hard-earned money. NAB’s timely intervention has been hailed as a significant step toward justice for those impacted by the scam.
