The charges against Pervaiz and Moonis involve fraud, money laundering, and corruption. Allegedly, the father-son duo concealed substantial sums in five Panama-based companies, with Pervaiz Elahi employing apparent money laundering techniques to acquire these entities. FIA has uncovered substantial evidence of illicit fund transfers from Pakistan to offshore accounts.

Moonis Elahi, a former member of the National and Punjab assemblies from 2004 to 2023, is accused of engaging in corruption through his frontman, Jabran Khan. He allegedly exploited his position for corrupt and money laundering activities, with his father’s assistance.
Pervaiz Elahi’s significant roles in the Punjab and National assemblies over the past two decades add weight to these allegations. Meanwhile, Moonis Elahi is accused of money laundering, allegedly acquired through corruption and kickbacks.
The First Information Report (FIR) filed by FIA details Moonis transferring funds abroad through various offshore and shell companies, intensifying the scrutiny into his financial dealings.
In response to these serious allegations, FIA plans to issue a red notice against Moonis Elahi to facilitate his apprehension and extradition. Simultaneously, authorities will continue probing the case for additional details.
