Later, Naqvi led a meeting at the FWO camp office to review the design and development plans for the stadium. Officials informed him that approximately 50% of the Gaddafi Stadium Upgradation Project has been finished, with work on the enclosures and flooring of both the main and office buildings advancing quickly.

As Gaddafi Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Cricket Arena undergo significant renovations ahead of the Champions Trophy, PCB remains confident in meeting the December 31 deadline to submit a comprehensive proposal to the ICC.

The Champions Trophy is scheduled to occur from February 19 to March 9.
