Maryam Nawaz owns assets worth over Rs840.89 Million

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz, Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, submitted details of her financial assets with her nomination papers on Tuesday, revealing that she owns assets worth more than Rs840.89 million.

Maryam listed MA English Literature as her educational qualification in her nomination papers, which The Express Tribune has a copy of.

Maryam owes her brother Hasan Nawaz more than Rs20.89 million. Captain Safdar, Maryam’s husband, owes Rs60 million to his friends as well.

According to her nomination papers, Maryam owns more than 1,400 kanals of land in the Raiwind area and has no property abroad.

In three years, Maryam’s agricultural income has exceeded Rs10.90 million. In the last three years, she has paid more than Rs1.2 million in income tax on agricultural land.

Maryam has invested more than Rs5.469 million in Hudabiya Paper Mills. She invested Rs4.821 million in Muhammad Bakhsh Textile Mills.

Maryam owns Rs1.6 million worth of Hamza Spinning Mills shares and Rs90,000 worth of Junaid Poultry Farms shares.

According to the documents, Maryam did not own a vehicle.
