Under the court’s ruling, markets can operate until 12 midnight, and on Saturdays and Sundays, they can stay open until 1 am.

Additionally, restaurants are required to submit parking plans to the court, addressing concerns about limited parking despite spacious dining areas.
The LHC also took note of a restaurant owner’s alleged misconduct toward judicial commission staff and instructed authorities to identify and report back on the individual.
Justice Shahid Karim stressed that the court’s actions aim to benefit the public and urged cooperation from all parties involved.
Furthermore, a judicial commission member updated the court on cleanliness efforts at Tollinton Market, highlighting concerns about trucks transporting ‘dead’ chickens to the market in the morning.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
