Pakistan has been missing Shadab Khan’s all-round abilities, but his comeback now looks closer than ever. Reports confirm that he has fully recovered from his shoulder injury and has already played a practice match at the Lahore City Cricket Association Ground, showing promising form.
Shadab, who underwent shoulder surgery in July, took part in the training game alongside Azam Khan and young pacer Ali Raza, with National Cricket Academy coaches assessing his match fitness. His injury had kept him out of major events including the Asia Cup 2025 and several international series.
As Pakistan prepares squad plans for the 2026 T20 World Cup, Shadab’s availability is seen as a crucial boost. Since Pakistan does not have many fixtures after the tri-series, his official return may happen in the Big Bash League with Sydney Thunder.
His recovery brings renewed hopes for fans and selectors, signaling that Pakistan’s key all-rounder is nearly ready to rejoin international action.
