A tragic incident of abuse has emerged from the Khwaza Khela area of Swat, where a teenage student was allegedly beaten to death by a teacher at a religious seminary.
The victim, identified as Farhan, reportedly died following a brutal assault inside the madrasa. A disturbing video circulating on social media shows the boy’s bruised back, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation.
Farhan, who belonged to a poor family from outside Swat, was staying at the seminary as a boarding student. The incident occurred in the Chaliyar area.
After the assault, the victim’s body was taken to Khwaza Khela Hospital for a post-mortem. Police have confirmed the arrest of two teachers linked to the case, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances and all individuals involved.
Local jirga members, civil society groups, and political leaders have strongly condemned the act, urging authorities to ensure swift justice.
