The 2024 FIFA Club World Cup is set to take place in the United States from June 15 to July 13, with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami playing a pivotal role in the tournament. As the host nation’s representative, Inter Miami will begin their campaign against Egyptian club Al Ahly on June 15 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. The team is placed in Group A alongside Palmeiras and Porto.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino described the tournament as “a celebration of inclusivity,” bringing together top clubs and players from around the world. This expanded edition of the Club World Cup will feature 12 stadiums across 11 cities, culminating in the final at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which is also the venue for the 2026 FIFA World Cup final.

The draw, held in Miami, revealed several exciting matchups, including a potential clash between Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé and Al-Hilal’s Neymar in Group H.

- Group E: River Plate, Urawa Red Diamonds, Monterrey, Inter Milan
- Group F: Fluminense, Borussia Dortmund, Ulsan Hyundai, Mamelodi Sundowns

The tournament will follow a round-robin format with the top two teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage.
Europe leads the competition with 12 clubs, followed by South America with six. Africa, Asia, and North America each have four representatives, with Inter Miami securing the North American spot as the host team. Oceania is represented by Auckland City.
