Sindh censor board takes action on screening Indian film “Pathaan”.

Khalid Bin Shaheen, the chairman of the Sindh Board of Film Censors, was alerted to the unlawful Pathaan showing in Karachi. In a statement, the board claimed that it had heard via social media that Fireworks Events had planned a public showing of the Indian movie in DHA on February 4.

The business also made movie ticket reservations. The statement further stated that until a legal permit for public exhibition has been given for the film, no private group or individual has the right to organise a public screening of any film at the public or private level.

According to Shaheen, such film screenings are governed under Section 4 [10] of the Sindh Motion Pictures Act 2011 and are not permitted without the Board’s consent.
