Last Solar Eclipse of 2023 to Grace the Skies on October 14

The last solar eclipse of 2023 is set to happen on October 14, with a lunar eclipse following on October 28.

This solar eclipse, often referred to as the “ring of fire,” will be visible in various parts of the world, but unfortunately, it won’t be observable in Pakistan. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has shared information about this event, adjusted to Pakistan’s local time.

According to the PMD, the final solar eclipse of the year will commence at 8:04 p.m. on October 14 and conclude at 1:55 a.m. on October 15. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has also furnished details about the lunar eclipse scheduled for October 28.

The lunar eclipse will begin at 11:02 p.m., reach its peak at 1:14 a.m., and conclude at 3:26 a.m. on October 29.

For those unfamiliar with the phenomenon, a solar eclipse occurs when the moon passes between the Earth and the sun, casting a shadow on Earth that either fully or partially obscures the sun’s light in certain regions.
