The Punjab government has unveiled a plan to build several parking plazas in Lahore to tackle the city’s worsening parking crisis.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a special meeting on Saturday to address the issue and instructed officials to fast-track construction in the most congested areas.

Planning has already been completed for parking facilities at 13 major sites across the city, though the Chief Minister has called for a fresh assessment to confirm their suitability.
Construction will soon begin at key high-traffic spots such as Regal Chowk, Town Hall, and Circular Road, as part of a larger urban strategy to ease traffic flow and improve commuting in Lahore.
