Punjab police arrested a security guard from a private college in Gulberg, Lahore, for allegedly raping a student
According to DIG Operations, the guard went into hiding after the incident gained attention on social media. However, within 10 hours, police apprehended him from the outskirts of Lahore.

Efforts are ongoing to locate the victim and her family, and legal proceedings are underway.
A first-year student at Punjab Group of Colleges (PGC) Campus 10 in Lahore was reportedly raped by a guard named Aun in the college basement after being accidentally locked in during a break.
Her screams alerted a male teacher, leading to her rescue, while the guard fled the scene.
The guard had a history of inappropriate behavior toward female staff, and despite mounting concerns, the administration is allegedly pressuring students to remain silent to protect the institution’s reputation. The victim is currently in the ICU.
