Lahore Safari Zoo shutting down temporarily for fifteen days

LAHORE – The Punjab Wildlife Department has announced the temporary closure of Lahore Safari Zoo Park for renovation.

Starting March 11, the zoo will remain closed for 15 days to allow for essential construction, annual maintenance, and repairs.

A department spokesperson confirmed that ongoing improvements will be completed within the given timeframe, ensuring the zoo reopens before Eid. Additionally, all animals will undergo medical examinations to assess their health.

During the closure, authorities will focus on enhancing facilities for both animals and visitors, promising a better experience once the zoo reopens.
