KP Prolongs Winter Break for educational Institutions.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Department has announced an extension of winter holidays for schools in plain areas of the province. This decision comes as part of the government’s efforts to adjust the academic schedule in light of local conditions.

A notification issued by the Education Department confirmed that the winter break for schools in plain areas would now continue until January 6. This extension ensures that students in these areas have additional time off during the winter season.

Previously, winter holidays for schools in plain areas were set from December 23 to December 31, while schools in mountainous regions were given a longer break from December 23 to February 29, 2025.

The extension reflects the authorities’ adaptation to changing weather conditions and aims to prioritize the well-being and safety of students in these regions.

This decision has impacted the academic calendar in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, affecting school schedules and making adjustments to accommodate the extended winter holidays.
