KP Residents Can Apply for Police Clearance Using a Mobile App

Residents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) can now apply for police clearance certificates for visa purposes without visiting a police station. The provincial government introduced a mobile solution through the newly launched Police Sahulat Markaz app.

The app allows users to submit applications within minutes. Applicants must select the “Police Clearance for Visa” option, choose the destination country, select their district, and indicate the purpose of travel. They must also specify whether they will collect the certificate themselves or authorize a relative. If a relative is authorized, their details need to be provided in the app.

After completing the application, a PSID number is generated. This number enables applicants to pay the required fee through Easypaisa. Verification is then carried out through the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). The app displays red indicators for pending steps, which turn green once payment and verification are completed.

Applicants can collect their police clearance certificates from the nearest Police Sahulat Markaz three days after verification. Officials said the app aims to reduce queues at police stations and make the process faster and more convenient for the public.

The KP government stated that this initiative is part of a broader effort to digitize public services and improve access for residents. By using the app, citizens can avoid unnecessary travel and complete the process from their smartphones.

Authorities encouraged residents to download the Police Sahulat Markaz app to ensure a smooth experience. They said the app will help streamline visa-related procedures and reduce bureaucratic hurdles.
