KP Hospitals On Alert Due To Increasing Chickenpox Cases

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A heightened state of alert has been declared in hospitals across several districts in KP due to the increasing number of chickenpox cases.

According to reports, the interim government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has raised the alert level in hospitals located in Chitral and Khyber districts in response to the rising instances of chickenpox.

The surge in chickenpox cases has been observed in the Mastuj and Tirah areas of Khyber district, with an upward trend also seen in Chitral district.

In the meantime, the health advisor of KP has instructed the relevant authorities to ensure an adequate supply of medicines in both districts.

Yesterday, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azam Khan, took notice of the chickenpox outbreak in the remote village of Harchin in Upper Chitral district.

The Chief Minister directed Health Advisor Dr. Riaz Anwar to take effective measures to provide treatment to the female students of the government school in Harchin village who have been affected by the disease, according to an official statement.

CM Azam Khan emphasized the dispatch of special medical teams to the area for treating the affected girls and monitoring the disease’s spread to prevent further outbreaks.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
