To come back, to fight in the UFC.” Cormier clarified that he doesn’t have details on the number of fights or the specific event Khabib was referencing, but the fighter explicitly communicated that he rejected a $40 million offer, signifying his decision to stay retired.
Khabib’s coach, Javier Mendez, also addressed the rumors and emphatically stated, “I’m just letting you guys know that, stop all this nonsense, on the internet regarding Khabib coming back to the UFC 300, we are not training together.” He further emphasized that Khabib is dedicated to his family and has not been involved in training others or considering a return to the octagon. Mendez firmly asserted that Khabib will never fight again, based on his knowledge and discussions with the fighter.
Dana White, the President of the Ultimate Fight Championship (UFC), has confirmed that Max Holloway is set to face Justin Gaethje at UFC 300 for the BMF (Baddest Motherf****r) title. This title is awarded to the fighter deemed the ‘baddest’ in the UFC, adding a layer of excitement to the upcoming event.
