His death marks a major loss for the party and the welfare work he supported throughout his life. Rao Zafar was respected for his dedication to humanitarian services and party development in the southern region of Punjab.

In related news, another senior Jamaat-e-Islami leader, Professor Khurshid Ahmad, passed away earlier this year in April. He died at the age of 93 in Leicester, United Kingdom.

Professor Ahmad was born on March 23, 1932, in Delhi and later migrated to Pakistan. He earned degrees in Law, Economics, and Islamic Studies from the University of Karachi. His academic achievements were later recognized when the university awarded him an honorary degree in Education for his contributions to research and Islamic scholarship.

Professor Khurshid Ahmad also served as a deputy chief of Jamaat-e-Islami and was known for his intellectual and ideological influence within the party. He played a key role in promoting Islamic economics and education policies in Pakistan.

Both Rao Zafar and Professor Khurshid Ahmad leave behind a legacy of service, knowledge, and commitment to the values of Jamaat-e-Islami. Their contributions will continue to inspire future generations of leaders and scholars within the party and beyond.

Funeral arrangements and public tributes for Rao Zafar are ongoing, while the party continues to honor Professor Ahmad’s lifelong dedication to education and religion.
