Jaffer Express and Bolan Mail Departures Remain Suspended

Train operations between Quetta and Chaman have resumed after a five-day suspension following the Jaffer Express incident. The Chaman Passenger Train, carrying 200 passengers, departed from Quetta at 8:30 AM.

However, the departure of Jaffer Express and Bolan Mail remains suspended. Railway officials stated that these services will only resume after track repairs in Mushkaf are completed.

According to railway authorities, 398 feet of the damaged track requires nine hours of repair work, which will commence once security clearance is granted.
