The Israeli Defence chief has warned of a possible renewed military campaign against Iran. Concerns over Iran’s nuclear and missile programs remain high.
The Defence chief made these remarks during a high-level meeting with top Israeli defense and intelligence officials. The gathering included leaders from the IDF, Mossad, and Shin Bet.
The meeting focused on regional security and Iran’s growing nuclear ambitions. The Defence chief stressed the importance of maintaining Israel’s air superiority, gained during Operation Rising Lion.
He said preventing Iran from rebuilding its nuclear and missile capabilities is key to regional stability. The Defence chief also highlighted the need to stay ready for any threats from Iran or its allies.
Besides Iran, ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Yemen were discussed. The Defence chief noted that these fronts require continued military attention. Israel’s current aggressive policy aims to neutralize threats from Iran, Lebanon, and Syria.
Troops remain deployed in Syria and Lebanon to protect Israeli border communities. The Defence chief described these deployments as strategic moves to deter escalation.
Operations in the West Bank were also praised by the Defence chief. He highlighted efforts to disrupt militant groups in refugee camps and stressed readiness for further action if needed.
This warning comes after the Defence chief previously signaled Israel’s readiness to act. At a recent event, he said Israeli pilots could strike any Iranian city, showing Israel’s military reach.
Tensions between Israel and Iran continue to rise. Iran’s uranium enrichment and support for regional groups have caused concern.
While no immediate military action was announced, the Defence chief’s words show Israel is keeping options open. The goal remains to secure the country and maintain peace through strength.
