Israeli Ambassador Mocked Muhammad Rizwan Indirectly After India's Victory

Israel’s Ambassador to India, Naor Gilon, praised India’s World Cup victory over Pakistan and expressed relief that Pakistan couldn’t link its success to Hamas terrorists. Gilon also conveyed appreciation for the support demonstrated by Indian friends during the match. The Israel embassy extended its gratitude to India for denouncing the Hamas terror attack.

Israel was displeased by Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Rizwan dedicating his century to the Gaza victims.

India reaffirmed its commitment to international humanitarian law and stressed the importance of direct negotiations to establish a sovereign, independent, and viable Palestinian state coexisting peacefully with Israel, even as Israel prepared for a potential ground invasion of Gaza.
