Israel Resumes Gaza Airstrikes, Truce Collapse Results In 35 Deaths Of Palestinians

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]GAZA CITY – Following the expiration of a week-long truce without reaching a permanent resolution, Israeli forces have once again initiated an assault on Gaza. Both sides accuse each other of violating the terms of the agreement. Israeli warplanes targeted eastern areas of the enclave, resulting in columns of smoke rising from various buildings. Residents in affected areas sought shelter to the west amid the bombardment. The northern Gaza Strip, a major conflict zone for weeks, experienced significant bombardment, with substantial plumes of smoke emanating from destroyed structures.

Within two hours of the truce collapsing, Gaza health officials reported 35 fatalities and dozens of injuries from the airstrikes. The Israeli military stated that it had “resumed combat operations,” with its warplanes targeting Gaza, alleging that Hamas violated the truce by firing rockets at Israel and not releasing all female hostages. In contrast, Hamas claimed that Israel was responsible for the truce’s breakdown, accusing it of rejecting terms to release additional hostages.
