Islamabad Sexual Assault Case: Authorities have launched an investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a woman in Islamabad, following reports that she may be a Belgian national,

The woman was discovered abandoned in the G-6 Sector of Islamabad, having reportedly endured sexual assault for five days. She was found with her hands and feet bound, left by unidentified individuals who fled the scene. A local resident alerted the police by calling the emergency helpline.

The Islamabad Police have established a special committee led by the SSP Operations to investigate the incident. A police spokesperson stated that there is currently no evidence to confirm that the woman is a foreign national, despite earlier speculations. “We have not found any proof that the victim is a foreigner. However, the investigation is ongoing and is being closely monitored by senior command,” the spokesperson noted.

Officials have urged the public to avoid speculation regarding the case. According to the police, further updates and developments will be provided as the investigation continues.

In her initial statement, the 28-year-old victim detailed that she had experienced sexual violence for five consecutive days.
