[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In response to potential unrest amid protests in the red zone, authorities in the twin cities have temporarily suspended the metro bus service from Rawalpindi’s Saddar station to Faizabad.

As a precautionary measure, several stations have been closed, causing inconvenience to commuters. The Metro Bus Service, which connects Rawalpindi and Islamabad, announced the suspension of its operations today, Tuesday, due to the ongoing Save Gaza Camp at D Chowk.

The service will now only be available for citizens between Saddar Rawalpindi and Faiz Ahmed Faiz station, excluding the usual route to the Secretariat. This decision was made following a request from the administration to support the peaceful demonstration in the capital city. The protest, organized by former JI Senator Mushtaq Ahmad, has attracted hundreds of people protesting against violence in Gaza.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
