Iranian President Dr. Ebrahim Raisi visited the mausoleum of Allama Muhammad Iqbal, known as the Poet of the East, during his three-day visit to Pakistan. In Lahore, he paid his respects by laying flowers at the mausoleum and praised Iqbal’s poetry for its role in bridging cultures. Raisi expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality he received during his time in the federal capital.

Upon his arrival, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, members of the Provincial Cabinet, and other distinguished guests welcomed him at the airport. Today, Raisi is scheduled to visit Karachi, where he will pay homage at the Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum and hold meetings with top officials.
