Israeli media has reported that Iran has launched at least 400 ballistic missiles at Israel, triggering war sirens in Tel Aviv and surrounding areas.
Earlier, a senior White House official indicated that Iran was on the verge of launching a ballistic missile attack against Israel, warning that such an action would have serious repercussions for Iran. The official noted that the U.S. has received signals about Iran’s preparations for this attack and mentioned ongoing collaboration with Israel on defensive measures.

Concerns about a strong Iranian response have escalated following an Israeli attack in Lebanon that resulted in the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah. In April, after an attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria, the U.S. and its Western allies defended Israel when Iran simultaneously launched missile and drone strikes.
Iran has declared that Nasrallah’s martyrdom would lead to Israel’s downfall; however, its foreign ministry clarified that Iran would not send troops to Lebanon for direct confrontation with Israel. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned Iran that there is no region in the Middle East where Israel cannot reach and that Iran’s freedom is nearer than expected. In response to recent tensions, the U.S. called for a ceasefire and affirmed its commitment to defending Israel while announcing an increase in military presence in the Middle East, including deploying additional troops and warplanes.
