The INMOL Cancer Hospital has been granted the status of an IAEA collaborating centre. A commemorative plaque was presented to recognize this milestone. The designation was finalized after an agreement signed in Vienna, giving the institution international recognition.

The agreement was signed by Ishaq Dar and Rafael Grossi. The ceremony was attended by Shehbaz Sharif. Officials described the development as a major success for Pakistan’s medical sector.

Authorities stated that the INMOL Cancer Hospital plays a key role in providing cancer care across Pakistan. The recognition highlights the quality of services and expertise available at the facility. It also reflects growing international trust in Pakistan’s healthcare institutions.

The hospital treats around 150,000 patients every year. It is equipped with advanced machines such as linear accelerators and imaging systems. These facilities help provide accurate diagnosis and effective treatment.

Across Pakistan, PAEC operates 21 cancer hospitals. Together, they treat over one million patients annually. Experts say this network plays an important role in supporting public health.
