Bollywood Director Sajid Khan Faces Fresh #MeToo Allegations from Actress Navina Bole
MUMBAI — The #MeToo movement has resurfaced in Bollywood as television actress Navina Bole accused renowned Indian director Sajid Khan of inappropriate behavior.
In a recent interview, Bole — best known for her role in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah — alleged that Sajid Khan, the brother of filmmaker Farah Khan, sexually harassed her during a disturbing encounter in the past. She claimed that Khan invited her to his home under professional pretenses but allegedly pressured her to remove her clothes and sit in her lingerie, insisting he needed to gauge her “comfort level.”

These fresh accusations add to the multiple allegations Sajid Khan faced during the 2018 #MeToo wave, when women including Saloni Chopra, Sherlyn Chopra, Aahana Kumra, and Mandana Karimi accused him of similar misconduct.
Describing Khan as a “terrible man,” Bole shared that she had initially been thrilled to hear from the director but soon felt deeply uncomfortable. She recounted that the meeting took place at Khan’s home rather than a professional setting, which immediately raised concerns.
“He said, ‘You wore a bikini on stage, so what’s the problem? It’s all about ‘tts and as,’” she recalled. Bole refused his inappropriate request, offering instead to wear a bikini if absolutely necessary but refusing to strip down in front of him.
She managed to leave the situation but revealed that Khan persistently called her afterward, questioning why she had left. Bole further claimed that about a year later, Khan reached out again, this time pretending to offer her a role.
