Imran Riaz Khan Returns In Podcast With His Lawyer

A preview of the podcast, hosted by Imran Riaz Khan’s lawyer Ali Ashfaq, has surfaced on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter). Titled “Cross Examination with Ali,” the clip features the host inviting the senior journalist and asking if he is prepared. Khan humorously responds that he is ready for everything except wrestling.
The journalist, a fervent supporter of former PM Imran Khan, had been out of the public eye since May. On September 25, 2023, he safely returned home after the Lahore High Court granted the Punjab IGP a final opportunity to locate the missing anchorperson.

Imran Riaz, a prominent YouTuber with millions of followers, was apprehended following widespread protests in Pakistan after the arrest of PTI chairman Imran Khan. Plainclothes officials detained him, transferring him to Cantt police station. Since 2020, he gained prominence on social and digital media for his outspoken analysis and reporting.
