On Tuesday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan underwent a medical check-up inside Adiala Jail. The examination was conducted by a team of doctors from PIMS Hospital, who carried out a thorough evaluation of his health.
According to sources, the doctors specifically examined his ears and teeth, performing cleaning procedures for both. Following the check-up, the medical team declared Imran Khan to be in good overall health.
Prison authorities stated that the doctors recommended a few additional medical tests to be conducted for further assessment. During the visit, Imran Khan also made a request for Dr. Asim to be brought in for a detailed dental check-up.
The results of this medical examination will be formally documented and submitted to the Islamabad High Court as part of the required reporting.
This routine health check comes amid Imran Khan’s continued incarceration, ensuring that his medical needs are monitored and addressed while in custody. The involvement of a government hospital team highlights the official nature of the procedure and ensures transparency in the process, as his health remains a matter of public and legal interest.
