Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan has stated that his sons, Qasim and Suleman, have every right to speak out in support of their father’s release.

His sister, Aleema Khan, relayed these remarks while speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, attributing the statements to Imran Khan. She said that the Toshakhana II case hearing was conducted inside the jail, but the family was only informed late at night. Only two lawyers were permitted to attend, while the rest of the legal team, family, and media were kept outside. “We waited at the prison gate for over four hours,” she noted.

Aleema shared that Imran Khan informed his lawyer he is confined to his cell for 22 hours daily without access to newspapers, books, or TV—though he was given one book that day.

Imran Khan reportedly asked his lawyer to tell the public about the harsh conditions he is facing. He said the current situation in the country isn’t governed by law or martial law but by the will of a single individual.

He also commented that a “gang of looters and incompetents” has united, the judiciary lacks independence, court orders are being disregarded, and the legal system has collapsed.

Aleema Khan questioned why her brother is being treated in such an inhumane manner and stated that Imran Khan has tasked Ali Amin Gandapur, Barrister Gohar Khan, and Salman Akram Raja with leading a robust movement.
