Imran Khan Ready For Dialogue Amid Political Crisis, Says Aleema Khan

Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, revealed that her brother is willing to engage in talks with the establishment—not for personal gain, but for Pakistan’s stability. Speaking outside Adiala Jail, she emphasized that reports of backdoor negotiations are baseless and meant to distract from pressing national issues.

Aleema clarified that no official representative from the establishment has approached the jailed former prime minister and urged the public to ignore claims of internal PTI deals. She also voiced serious concern about Imran Khan’s treatment in prison, citing prolonged isolation and denial of basic rights, including access to books, family meetings, and legal hearings.

Highlighting the growing threats from regional instability and internal unrest, Aleema echoed Imran Khan’s call for unity. She warned that rising tensions, particularly from Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the situation in Balochistan, demand national cohesion and decisive leadership.

Separately, PTI senior leader Salman Akram Raja confirmed after a meeting at Adiala Jail that Imran Khan views dialogue as a national necessity. He criticized alleged election rigging and judicial manipulation, stressing that excluding PTI’s founder from the political process only deepens the crisis.

Both Aleema and Raja underscored Imran Khan’s readiness to prioritize national interest over personal considerations. They called for honest, inclusive dialogue to steer Pakistan away from political and economic turmoil.
