ISLAMABAD – The PTI leadership revealed that Imran Khan disclosed an offer made through Ali Amin Gandapur and Barrister Gohar, suggesting that postponing the November 24 protests would resolve all issues.
During a meeting at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan mentioned that the offer included releasing under-trial detainees, including himself, to demonstrate seriousness in negotiations. However, he pointed out that this demand, which could have been easily fulfilled, was ignored, suggesting that the real aim was only to stop the protests.

Imran Khan further stated that he faces numerous cases in jail, a situation indicative of a “banana republic.” Despite receiving bail orders from the High Court, decisions have been pre-determined to keep him detained. He warned that the full implementation of the 26th Constitutional Amendment would make relief impossible.
Imran Khan also stated that the government’s intentions are clear, and protests will continue while negotiations take place. He expressed skepticism about his release before November 24 and called for the release of PTI detainees as a sign of seriousness in talks.
The PTI leadership quoted Imran Khan, emphasizing that political parties do not close the door on dialogue, though they refrained from naming those involved in the discussions.
