RAWALPINDI – PTI founder Imran Khan claimed that courts are being controlled under the 26th amendment and his trial at Adiala Jail is taking place in a managed environment.
Speaking to the media, Khan’s lawyer Faisal Chaudhry called for an open trial in the Toshakhana case, emphasizing it as Khan’s legal right. He accused authorities of restricting access for journalists and lawyers, alleging that legal files were being scanned and sent elsewhere, and claimed political victimization of Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi.

Through his lawyer, Khan announced plans to send a second letter to the Army Chief, highlighting concerns over judicial independence and Pakistan’s low ranking of 140th on the Rule of Law Index. He stressed the importance of civil-military collaboration to tackle terrorism and warned against threats to democracy.
