[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has issued a luxury tax notice to Imran Khan, the former prime minister and chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The notice, which was sent on Thursday, orders Khan to pay Rs3.6 million in luxury tax arrears.
The excise department sent a two-person team, ETO Adeel Amjad and Inspector Amna Rashid, to Imran Khan’s Lahore residence, Zaman Park, to deliver the notice.
The ex-prime minister has been ordered to pay the outstanding Rs3.6 million.

The notice also stated that if the outstanding debts are not paid within a week, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will be contacted.
It is worth noting that the notice comes at a time when the country is preparing for general elections.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
