[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]On Tuesday, a Lahore anti-terrorism court (ATC) extended Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s bail in three terrorism charges until April 13. Bail was increased in cases including Zille Shah’s murder, arson, and meddling in state affairs.
Imran had gone to the ATC earlier in the day, accompanied by security, to comply with the judges’ orders to appear in person to get bail.
The three complaints were filed by police after multi-day skirmishes in March between law enforcement and PTI supporters.

Imran first obtained bail in the proceedings on March 25, when the court granted permission until April 4. (today).
Previously, the ATC had granted Khan bail on surety bonds of Rs100,000 in each instance, directing him to cooperate with the inquiry and not miss any hearing dates.
At the time, the former prime minister stated in his plea that he want to participate in the investigation but is afraid of being arrested by authorities.
Many more terrorism cases have been filed against the PTI head in connection with the March 18 clashes at the Federal Judicial Complex (FJC). Several cases were filed against him at the Ramna, CTD, and Golra police stations in Islamabad.
Imran was granted protective bail in two of the cases filed against him by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on March 21.
On March 27, the Islamabad High Court granted Imran protective bail in seven of these matters.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
