Gilgit-Baltistan – Fareed Ahmed, Secretary of the Department of Higher Technical and Special Education in Gilgit-Baltistan, emphasized the commitment to improving public sector colleges during a seminar held at Fatima Jinnah Government Degree College in Gilgit on Thursday.
As the chief guest, Ahmed announced that Sukkur IBA University will offer scholarships to 20 students from Gilgit-Baltistan for a four-year BS program under the “OGDCL-National Talent Hunt Program 2024.” He noted that this initiative aims to foster a sense of competition among students and ensure they receive high-quality education for a brighter future.

Ahmed commended the Sukkur IBA management, particularly Attaullah Jatoi, Additional Director of Sukkur IBA, for organizing a series of seminars in public sector colleges across GB and for providing such valuable opportunities to students in the region.
The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students, who expressed their gratitude to Secretary Ahmed and the Sukkur IBA University team for their efforts in enhancing educational prospects in Gilgit-Baltistan.
