The Iran-backed militant group directed rockets and artillery towards Israeli positions in the occupied Golan Heights border area, resulting in hundreds of rockets and shells being launched at various Israeli positions.

Given the alarming situation, Israel activated alarms and encouraged residents in nearby areas to relocate southward, fearing an escalation in attacks.

Hezbollah also commended Hamas for its assault on Israel, opposing normalization of relations. The group stated that it closely monitors the Gaza situation and maintains contact with Palestinian leaders.

As of Sunday, more than 44 soldiers and 300 Palestinians have been killed in the aftermath of Saturday’s attacks, catching the world by surprise.

Hamas and its allies continue to demand an end to the blockade and have organized protests along the fence separating the confined region from Israel.

Following the casualties, Israeli forces assert readiness for all possible scenarios and remain committed to safeguarding residents’ security.
