Naseem Shah, who previously played for Quetta Gladiators, has now joined Islamabad United, with all-rounder Mohammad Wasim Junior and leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed heading to the Gladiators as part of a swap deal.

In addition to the player exchange, there was also a swap of United’s first-round platinum pick with the Gladiators’ third-round platinum pick.

The PSL draft is scheduled for December 13, 2023, at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore, and the main event is tentatively planned to take place from February 8 to March 24, 2024.
There are speculations circulating about the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sending two schedules to franchises, one with four venues and the other with two venues. Peshawar Zalmi is reportedly concerned about the venue selection, particularly advocating for their home ground, Arbaz Niaz Stadium, to be included as a venue for the upcoming PSL event.
