The administration of Haramain Sharifain has launched a new locker system to enhance convenience and security for pilgrims visiting the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. This initiative aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to improve the quality of services for visitors.

Pilgrims can apply for locker access from October 17 to November 15, with notifications sent to approved applicants afterward. This program enables visitors to securely store their personal belongings, allowing them to focus on their prayers without worrying about security.

Additionally, the Haramain Sharifain authority has received royal approval for new imams at both mosques. Sheikh Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, the chief imam of the Grand Mosque, confirmed the appointments of Sheikh Badr Al-Turki and Sheikh Dr. Al-Walid Al-Shamsan for the Grand Mosque, while Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Barhaji and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Al-Qarafi will serve at the Prophet’s Mosque.

These initiatives represent significant steps toward enhancing the overall experience for pilgrims, combining spiritual leadership with practical support during their religious journeys.
